Myrtle Beach isn’t just for the grown-ups. There are plenty of things to do to keep the little ones amused during your roadtrip vacation to the Grand Strand.

Everything from haunted houses to carousels to putt-putt golf, the kids will stay entertained.

First off, putt-putt or as some call it, miniature golf. Myrtle Beach is dotted with numerous “themed” putt-putt golf courses. Many of these can be found driving along Business 17 (Kings Highway), in the city of Myrtle Beach. Sticking with Broadway at the Beach, your little one is sure to enjoy the Carousel Park/Kiddie Rides, located on the western edge of the complex, for operating hours and prices, call 843-913-9308.

For the “speed freaks”, we’ve got the NASCAR Speedpark, located at the corner of 17 By-Pass and 21st Avenue North, behind the old NASCAR Cafe. Family Kingdom, Myrtle Beach’s only seaside amusement park, offers over a dozen “kiddie” specific rides. Your little ones will enjoy the likes the Berry-Go-Round, the Mini Bumper Cars, and the Kiddie Coaster, just to name a few. When it comes time to cool off, they can hop on over to the Tadpole Hole, for some cool splashing fun! Family Kingdom Amusement Park is located at 300 South Ocean Boulevard and there is no admission fee to get inside. There are several ride plans available:
